Bought some tinted number plates to try something different, they are far too dark though could literally only be used as show plates, but even then they look a bit naff.

If they were gloss black with silver lettering, like they were before 1974 they would look ok, but the front you can only just make out the numbers

Latest little touch, Passat B7 Alltrack mirrors, in brushed alloy to match the grille. This may even please Alan :lol:

The mirrors are a bit bigger, and a more modern shape, the LEDs are also much better as there is a full row along the length of the indicator, not just two like the standard mirrors. They also fold in much neater too and have a dimming feature like the interior one.

Much better Aj , more subtle, I've got Jareks retro fit full leds on my mirrors , they do make a difference, puddle lights as well?
