For Sale - Biscay Blue R36 Estate (Staffordshire)

Post by russr36 » Wed Mar 22, 2017 12:51 pm

Hi all,

I am looking to sell my R36 which I have owned since 2009. The previous owner was VW as it was a press car, I had it from 5,000 miles so nearly new, see this article as this is the actual car! It's now done 57,000 miles. ... r36-estate

Obviously it's 8 years old now so has standard stone chips to the exterior here and there. It has a small dent on the roof just behind the fin for the Sat Nav. (no idea how it happened, I just noticed it one day, possibly something fell off my garage roof at home but I don't know). The only rust I've noticed is a very small spot above the rear number plate near the reversing camera. None on the doors or arches. Also some of the paint has flaked off on the inside of the wheel-arch where you would fit mud-flaps, not noticeable really but I'm trying to list everything I've noticed!
It has also had the high level brake light dis-connected due to it part failing and not going through MOT 2 years ago, so it was disconnected to pass MOT.

The interior is good, except for the drivers seat bolster which has semi collapsed on the right hand side from where you get in and out. You don't notice when you are sat in it though, I think this is fairly common with these types of seat, the passenger one is mint as it doesn't often get used.

Full service history with my local VW/Audi specialist (not dealer but uses genuine parts). Just had an MOT 2 weeks ago with problems (other than advise about top brake light).

You can see the spec by looking at the pictures, all the normal R36 bits and bobs.

Any questions let me know, I'm open to offers. Selling due to new car. Thanks for looking!

Hi Russ,

Is the car still for sale and could you post any photos of it in its current condition? Was it a press car do you know.

If it's easier to text then my number is 0780 1415023.

I'm considering viewing on the weekend, so hope to hear back soon.
